Overview

The Regional Manager is the LEADER of their region; this is an opportunity to create something incredible, and build your own vision. The Regional Manager will implement strategies to effectively meet region goals, including:

  • Management Strategy
  • Recruiting Strategy
  • Training Strategy
  • Product Strategy
  • Sales Strategy

Responsibilities

Management Strategy

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining high quality, efficient, and financially responsible procedures
  • Ensures compliance with established procedures for effective management and productivity of Sales Representatives, Area Sales Managers and Campus Engagement Ambassadors 
  • Works in collaboration with other Regional Managers, Division Managers and Sales Director to achieve goals and enhance communication
  • Works with other managers to share resources and collaborate on ideas, as well as to align strategy
  • Partners with other managers and Sales Director to collaborate on the financial success of the Region   
  • Maintains accountability for departmental budget and utilization of resources.  Identifies negative trends and assists in developing a plan of action to address variances.  Regularly reports the financial status of the region to the Sales Director
  • Facilitates daily meetings with Sales Representatives and Area Sales Managers to communicate initiatives, gain feedback, and maintain continued focus on goals

 

Recruiting Strategy

  • Responsible for hiring, training, developing and evaluating performance of Sales Representatives, Area Sales Managers and Campus Engagement Ambassadors  
  • Coordinate all aspects of the hiring process including but not limited to attending college career fairs, sourcing new applicants, scheduling/ conducting candidate interviews, initiating offers, completing the HR hiring and training process

 

Training Strategy

  • Works closely with Sales Director and other managers to develop and execute an overall learning and development strategy, creating and supporting a culture of learning and development
  • Responsible for assessing needs and developing, coordinating and delivering high-quality learning initiatives to build skills and abilities
  • Assists in developing innovative, participant-centered training to improve skills and abilities while balancing needs, tools, programs and resources to stay within budget

 

Product Strategy

  • Evaluates all markets within region to determine best product offerings, recommends pricing and bundling
  • Develops and maintains school partnerships for product development and distribution

 

Sales Strategy

  • Sets sales goals, including daily, weekly monthly metrics
  • Monitors and reviews lead generation and prospect pipeline

Qualifications

  • 3+ years B2B sales experience, 1 – 2 years sales management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of sales success
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making abilities with effective organizational and time management skills; the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and presentation skills. Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change
  • Excellent listening skills and expertise in group facilitation along with strong leadership, analytical and mentoring skills. The ability to recognize and effectively address personnel issues in a fair and timely manner
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and process management skills with the ability to recognize interdepartmental relationships and dependencies and implement departmental activity in support of cross-functional policy and procedures
